Advantage Technical is seeking a Chemistry Analyst for our client in Irvine, CA.


Position Summary:

  • Perform laboratory analysis of samples according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various laboratory apparatus and instruments in compliance with our client's cGMP, GLPs, SOPs, USP, and FDA guidelines.
  • Instrumentation experience with HPLC, UV/Vis, Karl Fischer-Titrator, Viscometer, TOC Analyzer, Analytical Balances, and pH meter.
  • Performs laboratory analysis of samples according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various laboratory apparatus and instruments (e.g. HPLC, GC, UV/Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, TOC, pH meter, etc.).
  • Performs routine qualification, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  • Prepares analytical standards and reagents according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Performs protocol execution for method verification/validation.
  • Scan and compile supporting data for report/document preparation.
  • Other tasks and projects assigned as appropriate.


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry.
  • Familiarity with ICH and FDA guidelines, GMP regulations, and quality compliance requirements preferred.
  • Must have excellent technical writing skills, editing, formatting, and organization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite


Desired:

Previous pharmaceutical experience is highly desirable.
