Spid3rThink Internship Program - Fall 2024
Spid3rThink is the parent corporation of a cutting-edge conglomerate of tech-focused companies. These companies specialize in diverse technology niches, including software development, video game design, and AI theory and development. Soon, we will also be expanding into robotics, computer hardware design, and aerospace engineering.
As we shift towards more public-facing business models, Spid3rThink is launching a prestigious internship program designed to be the top tech internship in Utah. This program offers tailored, one-on-one mentorship for each intern, providing a unique opportunity to accelerate career growth and development.
Optional Two-Semester Progression:
Interns have the option to participate in this internship for one or two semesters. In the first semester, interns will serve as Jr. Interns, focusing on building further skills and gaining exposure to Spid3rThink’s diverse projects. Those who choose to continue into a second semester will be promoted to Sr. Interns, where they will take on more advanced responsibilities and leadership opportunities within their teams.
Key Features of the Program:
- Direct Mentorship with the CEO: To kick-start this internship program, during the first two semesters (Fall 2024 and Spring 2025), interns will have the exceptional opportunity to be mentored directly by Spid3rThink's CEO, Br33 Jon3s. This hands-on mentorship will provide not only technical expertise but also strategic guidance in aligning career ambitions with industry opportunities.
- Industry-Relevant Projects: Interns will work on foundational live projects across Spid3rThink’s subsidiaries and, when ready, interns will take on more complex tasks and leadership roles, gaining practical experience and further enhancing their CV with valuable skills.
- Exclusive Networking Opportunities: On occasion and as selected, interns will have the chance to accompany Br33 to high-level networking events, where they will be introduced to founders, executives, and hiring managers across the tech industry—creating invaluable connections for their future careers.

- Personalized Growth Plans: Each intern will develop a tailored plan at the start of the program, outlining key skills they want to master and career goals to achieve by the end of the internship.

- Feedback & Recommendations: Throughout the internship, interns will receive regular structured feedback on their progress. Likewise, as the first intern cohort of this program, Spid3rThink welcomes intern feedback and suggestions for future program adaptation.
Student Eligibility:
This internship program is open to Jr. and Sr. undergraduate students as well as graduate students. While all students are welcome to apply, the internship this term will likely apply best to the following major categories:
- Software Engineering or Development: 15-25 positions
- Computer Science: 5-7 positions
- Computational Data: 3-5 positions
- Web Design & Development: 3-5 positions
- Game Development: 5-10 positions
- Cybersecurity: 1-2 positions
- Information Management: 1-2 positions
- Information Systems: 1-2 positions
- Information Technology: 1-2 positions
Additional Details:
- Unpaid Internship: Please note that this is an unpaid internship.
- Time Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week is expected from interns.
- Remote Work: Project work and mentorship meetings will be conducted remotely unless otherwise scheduled or desired in advance for occasional in-person meetings.
