Medical Director - Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)
LeaderStat is in search of a Medical Director for their Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) program. The PACE Medical Director is responsible for the delivery of participant care, for clinical outcomes, and for the implementation, as well as oversight, of the PACE quality improvement program.
The Medical Director provides clinical leadership for the care and treatment of participants of the client's Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) using primary care concepts, emphasizing prevention of illness and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. This position provides clinical direction and guidance to the PACE program and staff to assure the maintenance of quality care for participants and families. They are ultimately responsible for medical outcomes and serve as a liaison between the program and community physicians, as well as with others engaged in health care services. This position and/or their designees provide direct medical care as needed to participants in the home, the PACE center, and in other multiple healthcare settings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in primary care (internal medicine, family practice) required
- Fellowship training in geriatrics with board certification (preferred)
- English and Spanish Speaking (preferred)
- Must be certified in CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) by the American Heart Association.
- Must possess valid driver’s license and documentation of current automobile insurance at agency-specified levels.
- Must comply with requirements of other facilities (hospitals, LTC (Long Term Care) facilities, etc.) related to flu or other vaccines if job duties require providing services in those facilities.

$209,000/year - $261,500/year
