Our client is looking for a Sales Representative in the Tomball area This is a direct-hire opportunity, about 60% travel, with a competitive salary

Will be given old accounts, existing accounts, and will be conducting business development activity to bring in new business too.

Job Summary:

  • Making sales calls daily.
  • Provide a weekly status report on open Sales Orders, Quotations, and their progress.
  • Communicating/coordinating customer requirements with Sales, Materials, Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Contact customers and prospects to arrange appointments or follow-up to confirm orders and/or delivery dates.
  • Arrange to produce presentations and supporting material, such as technical papers or customer references, to help sales representatives win business.
  • Handle orders by telephone, email.
  • Verify purchase orders and clarifying unclear items.
  • Submit POs for all customers.
  • Contact customers to resolve any issues.

Requirements:

  • Professional phone and email etiquette toward customers and coworkers.
  • Time management skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP software, a plus.
  • Computer and organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high call volume.
  • Effectively working with others to ensure sales and company success.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and customer specifications.
  • Must have clean driving record and pass a drug test.
