BIM Technician/Coordinator

• creating digital simulations of Electrical Work including Switchgear, Raceways, Light fixtures, busway, cable tray, etc
• verifying that information entered into the BIM (Building Information Model) is correct.
• creating and maintaining the project's overall BIM execution plan, ensuring it remains up to date throughout the course of the project.
• verifying that exported data from the BIM is accurate and complete.
• ensuring that BIM model parameters are compliant with the building execution plan.
• configuring 3D models using BIM-specific modelling programs such as Revit.
• adjusting design templates using modelling tools like EVOLVE
• creating element groups or internal element libraries within the project
• participating in meetings with project teams to ensure everyone understands how to adhere to the BIM process.
• participating in meetings with clients and stakeholders as a BIM expert
• organizing agendas for regular coordination meetings and updates
• transferring information and data to updated software versions.
• Providing Trimble Points.
• Maintain BIM issues Log for each Project
