About the Company: The Hydraulic Engineer role for the System Design team focuses on liquid hydraulic design and analysis, overseeing the lifecycle of pipeline and facility projects from planning to start-up. It requires balancing safety, cost, function, and reliability while providing technical leadership.



About the Role: Conduct hydraulic studies using modeling software. Provide technical oversight to external consultants to ensure project safety, quality, cost, and schedule compliance. Coach junior engineers on hydraulic design practices. Lead collaboration with stakeholders to optimize designs, balancing costs and operational needs. Perform hydraulic transient modeling when required. Drive continuous improvement in design standards and lead knowledge-sharing efforts.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hydraulic studies using modeling software.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Engineering and a professional designation with APEGA.
  • 7+ years of experience in liquid hydrocarbon pipeline design within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software like SPS and Fathom.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on continuous learning and development.
