Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in C++ programming, Zephyr RTOS, IoT development, and embedded system design. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, testing, and optimizing software solutions for embedded devices. Your work will directly contribute to cutting-edge IoT products that drive innovation and enhance user experience across various industries


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for IoT devices, utilizing C++ programming language.
  • Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems running on Zephyr RTOS, ensuring efficient resource management and low-latency performance.
  • Integrate and interface embedded software with hardware components, ensuring seamless communication between devices and sensors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, product managers, and QA teams, to deliver reliable and high-performance embedded solutions.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices.
  • Debug and optimize software performance on embedded platforms, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and memory issues.
  • Contribute to the development of software tools, utilities, and protocols to support product development and IoT ecosystem.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain a high standard of software quality.
  • Document software design, architecture, and testing procedures to ensure transparency and maintainability.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of embedded systems, RTOS, and IoT.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing embedded systems using C++ programming language.
  • Strong experience with Zephyr RTOS, including kernel-level programming, device drivers, and memory management.
  • In-depth understanding of RTOS concepts such as task scheduling, inter-process communication (IPC), and real-time constraints.
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) and standards.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, and GPIO.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, especially in embedded IoT applications.
  • Experience with debugging tools like JTAG, GDB, and serial debugging.
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Scrum).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS or RTEMS.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
  • Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (e.g., Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with embedded Linux or Bare-metal systems.
  • Understanding of low-power design principles for embedded IoT devices.
