As Project Manager for Inventory Innovation, you will lead and manage all aspects of a key initiative within Inventory Innovations, including but not limited to the following: Ensuring project plans and goals are achieved; identifying and managing risks and issues related to scope, timeline, or cost; and working hand-in-hand with the business lead and partners, consistently updating them on project progress. This role also collaborates with change management to account for effective communication, training, and support for sustained adoption and results, both with our internal Hilton corporate audience as well as with our hotels and owners.


More specifically, you will:

• Work with key Hilton partners and vendors to establish working practices, clarify roles and responsibilities, and ensure that plans, dependencies, issues, and risks are aligned with the overall project plan, drive deliverables, and support commercial services goals

• Identify key functionality gaps by working closely with key subject matter experts. Prioritize requirements and develop and implement a remediation plan, if required

• Align team on the project methods, implement standards and supervise opportunities for progression

• Develop a solid understanding of hotel-level, owner-level, and corporate-level commercial objectives and revenue management business processes and systems across brands and geographies

• Act as a strategic thought partner with business leads, product owners, leadership, and deployment teams.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of professional experience

• Five (5) years of experience in Project Management


It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Seven (7) of professional experience in Project Management

• Experience with Agile methodologies (this is a hybrid project)

• Experience managing a project in the IT/Product space

• PMP, CAPM, or similar certification

• An understanding of revenue management, pricing, inventory, tax law, and on property operations.

• Working understanding of Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence, and other project planning tools

• Hospitality Experience
