We are a rapidly growing yet nimble company who constantly seeks to innovate, and we’re looking for a Procurement & Logistics Associate to help build supplier relationships and control our inventory levels.

 

What you’ll do.

As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless procurement of materials and the efficient management of logistics operations. This role is critical in helping us expand our market presence among professional, college, high school, and youth organizations. Working with the Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for procuring key materials and working with supplier partners to ensure the company has the needed inventory to operate.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders as needed to replenish stock and prevent shortages.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to arrange timely transportation and delivery of goods, optimizing cost and efficiency.
  • Track shipments and manage import/export documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and timely customs clearance.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies to maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Analyze procurement and logistics data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.


Who you are:

  • BA/BS degree with a focus on business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the sporting goods industry or in a manufacturing & distribution environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for sports and a genuine interest in athlete safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Experience with retail partnerships and EDI routing is a plus.
