  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash handling, vault operations, and security protocols.
  • Review and approve transactions outside of teller limits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing escalated customer inquiries and resolving complex issues.
  • Assist in identifying customer needs and offering tailored banking solutions, including products and services.
  • Foster relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Support the Branch Manager in hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring branch staff.
  • Supervise and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Schedule and manage staff to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
  • Partner with the Branch Manager to develop and execute sales strategies to meet branch goals.
  • Participate in community outreach and networking activities to promote the bank’s services.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker in the absence of the Branch Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on branch operations.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking products, services, and operations.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and performance metrics.
  • Proficient in banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
