Supporting Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort, Boxer Property Management Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities & Project Manager to support the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort by overseeing capital projects, renovations, and facility improvements throughout the property. Reporting directly to the Asset Manager, this position serves as the primary liaison between resort operations, ownership, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all capital projects, renovations, and facility improvements at the Hilton Tapatio Resort. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining operational continuity and safety compliance. Administrates, coordinates and prioritizes use of The Bridge software. The Facilities Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the resort operations team, ownership, vendors, and contractors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management & Oversight

• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines for capital improvements and renovations
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception through completion
• Monitor project progress, expenditures, and resource allocation to ensure adherence to budget and schedule
• Identify and resolve project delays, budget overruns, and quality issues
• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to the Boxer Asset Manager

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and select qualified contractors and vendors
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize value
• Maintain relationships with key service providers and consultants
• Ensure contractor compliance with safety, insurance, and quality standards
• Coordinate daily operations on construction sites to minimize guest impact

Cost Control & Administration

• Develop detailed project budgets and cost estimates
• Track expenditures and maintain accurate financial records for all projects
• Process change orders and manage scope adjustments
• Verify invoices and coordinate with Finance for payment processing
• Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality

Planning & Design Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, designers, and engineers on project specifications
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, ADA requirements, and safety standards
• Manage design changes and maintain project documentation
• Collaborate on pre-construction planning and feasibility assessments

Quality Assurance & Safety

• Conduct regular site inspections and quality reviews
• Enforce adherence to safety protocols and OSHA requirements
• Coordinate final inspections and punch-list resolution
• Ensure all work meets brand standards and Boxer Property standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or commercial facility management
• Proven track record managing capital projects with budgets exceeding $1 million
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
