The company is currently seeking a Technical Implementation Manager to join their team, who will be focused on leading the technical implementation components for installing our products in the Retail Performance Engine, Consumer Lending Platform, and our Digital Lending solutions. The Technical Implementation Manager plays a pivotal role in guiding our Implementation teams through implementations projects and ensuring coverage for all required tasks. This position reports directly to the CTO and will collaborate closely with the CTO and cross-functional teams, ensuring that implementations remain on schedule according to the project plans. Your leadership and facilitation skills will be critical in fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.


This position does not require the employee to be onsite full-time to perform the role most effectively, however priority will go heavily to candidates based in Wilmington, NC or Raleigh, NC.


What you will be responsible for:

  • mentor, and coach the technical implementation engineers responsible for on-boarding Velocity Solutions products in hosted and on-premises environments.
  • management, including performance management, and staff recruitment and hiring.
  • maintain, and manage engineer’s implementation travel schedules to include adherence to corporate travel policies and expense reporting.
  • with the management team and leadership for Client implementations.
  • required, support the sales organization in conducting technical pre-sales meetings with prospective Clients.
  • plan creation and setup, to include the task assignments for all project team resources.
  • status reporting on all active implementation projects.
  • scheduled project status meetings to help identify and mitigate project hurdles.
  • and integrate with the Software Support team for seamless handoffs of Clients at the completion of each implementation project.
  • with the legal contracts department to initiate internal systems setup for new Clients.
  • a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing changes that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • with the CTO to ensure alignment of team goals with broader organizational goals and strategies.


What you will need to have:

  • implementing application software products.
  • with Project Management tools and systems like Microsoft Project, Workfront, etc.
  • experience in project management methodologies, with a focus on software implementation.
  • management experience to include goal setting, performance management, coaching, and workload balancing.
  • degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in Project Management; or equivalent in-kind work experience in a technical Project Management role.
  • negotiation, facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
  • communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • track record of driving process improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.
  • to inspire and influence teams without direct authority, fostering collaboration and a sense of ownership.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • experience in financial technology or experience with banking is a plus.
  • Certification.
