Overview

Our client, an Austin-based SaaS marketplace for entrepreneurs, is looking for a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer. This executive will have a seasoned background in brand and growth strategy, specifically working with ecommerce or online marketplaces, and will be brought in to help our client refine its current brand and performance strategy roadmap. This candidate will be a creative by nature, have a superpower for leadership and thrive in an environment where they can provide mentorship and development of others.


This candidate will be advising an established marketing organization comprised of roughly ~25 with leadership across Email, Creative, Brand and Growth.


The engagement is remote and will range from 10-20 hours per week.


Objectives

  • Customer Persona Creation: Looking to enhance the existing persona and create detailed customer profiles and targeted strategies to accompany them


  • Audit and Optimize Performance Marketing Channels: Evaluate the effectiveness of current paid marketing channels and innovative strategies to maximize ROI.


  • Refine Customer Journey Mapping: Identify gaps in the current customer journey and develop strategies to improve customer communication and engagement throughout their lifecycle


  • Bring a Creative Perspective: Bring creative ideas to bring life back into the campaigns.


Deliverables

  • Customer Persona Report: Refresh existing customer persona and identify marketing strategies for customer acquisition and messaging


  • Performance Channel Audit Report: Review performance marketing channels and make recommendations around efficacy, as well as opportunities for innovation and optimization.


  • Customer Journey Mapping Report: Work with team to identify gaps and make recommendations for improvements
