•This is an apprentice level position, and the candidate must display a positive attitude towards learning new tasks.

•Candidate must be detail orientated. Candidate must have strong math skills. Looking for candidates with the required skill set that can be trained to be a Metrology Technician.


Required Education

•High school diploma


Required Years of Experience

•Requires 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.


Desired Skills

•Applicable technical training, 2 years of direct experience in the field, or an associate degree in engineering technology or other relevant field or 1-year direct experience. Candidate should possess strong computer skills, experience with the following programs is a plus: Indysoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track and Met/Cal experience a plus.

•Previous customer service experience is a plus.

•Familiarity with hand tools and their usage. Candidate should be proficient in High School level Algebra.


Desired Education

•Associates Degree - engineering


Metrology Tech 1 for Linear/Dimensional

•Calibrates and certifies Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology utilizing certified laboratory standards and manufacturer, commercial or military specifications/calibration procedures.

•Calibrates and troubleshoots fault isolation, adjustment and repairs using Test Measure Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) certified laboratory standards.

•The candidate will be required to calibrate linear dimensional hand tools and other related equipment.
