Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for an Associate Designer. The Associate Designer will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of swimwear collections, creating technical sketches, researching trends, and selecting fabrics and trims. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the design vision is executed accurately and attending fittings to make necessary adjustments to designs. This is an on-site role, located in New York, NY.Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Assist creating/updating CADs and tech flatsTrend/competitive researchAssist in trend/mood board researchAssist in meeting preparations Work with cross functional teams to request development samplesQualificationsProficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and PhotoshopStrong understanding of garment construction, technical sketches, and fabric selectionAbility to research fashion trends and apply them to swimwear designsExcellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPrevious experience in swimwear or fashion design is preferredBachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related fieldJoin us in our New York office, and be part of a company that sets the trends in swimwear fashion.
