Your Team

This position will work directly with the CEO while overseeing senior leaders throughout the company. 


Position Summary

____________________________________________________________________________________________

The COO is responsible for providing strong leadership for the Company by working with other Executives to establish short and long-term goals, plans, and strategies. They are responsible for presiding over the entire workforce and will work in tandem with the CFO to manage budgets and make sure resources are allocated optimally. The COO will make sure departments meet their individual goals and is responsible for overall accountability to the leadership team and clients. In addition, they have an entrepreneurial mindset and adapt quickly to changes in the marketplace. 


Subsequently, the position is responsible for the efficiency of revenue operations, daily business operations and administration, and supporting the Company’s delivery of best-in-class services to a growing community of clients. The COO is always striving to enhance the value of services offered, improve client relationships, and seek ways to further expand service offerings to meet client needs.


Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy:

  • Works with Executive Officers to forecast upcoming industry trends
  • Forecasts potential operational pitfalls for the Company
  • Thinks creatively to quickly course correct operations within the Company before pitfalls become operational problems
  • Offers detailed guidance based on metrics and company precedent to the Executive Officers concerning the Company’s operations and profitability


Architecture:

  • Facilitates major operational initiatives for the company 
  • Creates SOP’s and guidance around operational initiatives
  • Continually tests and examines current Company operations for improvement and efficiency 
  • Postures as contact point for any external teams providing the Company with operational projects and/or strategies


Data Reporting

  • Creates effective and informative reporting around current operational programs within the Company
  • Communicates with the Executive Officers the effectiveness of Company programs using data driven metrics


Business Development

  • Works in tandem with the CEO to effectively onboard new partners and affiliates
  • Provides operational guidance and procedures to newly onboarded partners


Tech Stack Management

  • Oversees and manages the structure, reporting, and use of CRMs/Data platforms within the Company
  • Tasks down work to direct reports concerning architecture within CRMs/Data platforms
  • Effectively leverages tech stack to increase profitability for the Company


Department Oversight

  • Oversees departmental leadership throughout the organization
  • Communicates effectively with direct reports to increase department efficiencies
  • Holds direct reports accountable for positive growth, effective operations, and employee health within each department
  • Leads direct reports by example to higher standards of excellence within the Company
  • Verifies and submits payroll for administrative employees
  • Directs weekly L10 Meetings and holds direct reports accountable to deliverables

7. Computer/Technical Skills

  • Displays proficiency using standard office equipment such as a computer, scanner, etc.
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency by quickly adapting to new technology and easily acquiring new technical skills
  • Holds a deep understanding and technical knowledge of CRMs/Data platforms

  • Exhibits sound judgment and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, preferably within the health and wellness industry
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing operational strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance management
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks
