Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Estimator at Platinum Contracting of Nevada located in Henderson, NV. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for estimating the costs and timelines for various construction projects, analyzing blueprints, performing take-offs, preparing and submitting bid proposals, and conducting vendor and subcontractor negotiations. The Senior Estimator will also collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure accurate and competitive bids.


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in estimating costs for construction projects (preferred but not required)
  • Experience in utilities and grading projects
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and tools
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
  • Familiarity with vendor and subcontractor negotiations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
