ROLE OVERVIEW:

We're looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer, that could become Full-Time as work volume increases to support our Distributor business, Men's hair care brand: MARO, fabric care and home brand: LAUNDRIN, plus a new Supplement brand as well as an upcoming Protein brand launching in 2025.

The Freelance Graphic Designer is responsible for working with the NatureLab team to bring our brands vision to reality. Our focus is in both the health and beauty industries, therefore passion and experience in said industries are a must. The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work, especially in the e-commerce sector, to support our clients.


Creativity and a strong ability to translate requirements into design is pertinent to our process. If you are a self-starter who can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.


IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using design software
  • Use brand appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  • Work with the digital director and team to produce final design
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Work closely with the managers and marketing team to coordinate graphics for social media, website, email marketing and paid advertisements.


THE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum of 2 years of graphic design experience required
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Must have experience or interest in the Beauty industry
  • Proficient in design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related discipline preferred but not required
  • Available M-F for brief daily check-ins via Slack for a daily/weekly agenda update
  • Consistent and reliable with creating content (daily) and implementing feedback/edits from the team
