SUMMARY: 


Social Imprints provides promotional branded merchandise such as pens, mugs, and key chains to many of the nation’s largest tech companies. 80% of the products are shipped directly to our clients from our manufacturers throughout the US. About 20% of the products are shipped back to our San Francisco warehouse, where they are counted, given a custom SKU, kitted, packaged, and put into bins. The Warehouse team will pack and pack the orders that come into the Shopify e-commerce stores from our customers for new hire kits, events, and recruiting swag.


We use the Shopify E-commerce platform and Real-Time Dispatch (RTD) as our Warehouse and Inventory Management System. We are onboarding NetSuite to integrate with our Shopify stores and replace RTD as our Inventory and Warehouse Management Systems.


Job Responsibilities:


Oversee all aspects of the Social Imprints onsite warehouse and all its operations, reporting, and warehouse staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


Day to Day:

  • Coordinate and support all warehouse activities and ensure employees are trained in health and safety compliance.
  • Maintain and enforce an organized, clean, and safe workplace.
  • Ensure all fulfillment, kitting, and packaging projects are completed on time and meet and exceed gross profit expectations. 
  • Ensure all fulfillment, kitting, and packaging projects meet customer expectations and achieve at least a 4 on the customer rating surveys.
  • Handle all day-to-day HR duties for the Warehouse team and Assistant Warehouse Manager, including (See Below)
  • Attendance Report (Monthly). 
  • Conduct bi-annual reviews with bonus and commission information.
  • Continuously document poor and excellent performance documentation that could lead to promotions, demotions, warnings, and terminations. 
  • Co-create and deliver verbal 1st warnings and coaching to employees, and document the interaction with the employee. 
  • Project manage the Employee Incentive Plan needs.
  • Conduct orientation for new hires with or without Jeff.
  • Conduct and document all necessary conflict resolution coaching sessions between employees.
  • Proactively advocate for raises, promotions, and demotions.
  • Conduct a coaching session if negative feedback is received on the internal 360 survey questions.
  • Collect order surveys and 360 internal survey responses, and coach employees on needed improvements based on survey results.


Continuous Improvement/Upgrades:

  • Work with Technology team to upgrade the Social Imprints customer service experience

& set up automated responses, bot answers, and machine learning.

  • Upgrade pick and pack procedures, goals, and other Warehouse systems to become more efficient.
  • Plan and implement new and efficient warehouse design layout and pick and pack efficiency plan. Track in upgrades worksheet.
  • Act as a key stakeholder/direct contact between Social Imprints and our shipping vendors and get year-over-year shipping discounts.


Weekly/Monthly Reporting:

  • Create monthly/weekly KPIs for the Warehouse team and Assistant Manager and help with upgrades and coaching when necessary.
  • Create weekly/monthly reports such as:
  • Webstore & TC monthly recap
  • Webstore Goals & Bonus Tracking
  • Warehouse Job Costing
  • Fulfillment Revenue Report
  • Order Report
  • Zendesk Reporting


Customer Service:

  • Prepare for and participate in all large client projects and quarterly review meetings.
  • Work with the internal Account Management team to report on all current projects and handle potential delays and issues. 
  • Create a quality control program for our largest clients and monitor that the warehouse team is executing the program correctly. 


Must Haves:

  • At least 3 years as a pick and pack warehouse manager or fulfillment supervisor at an established large warehouse or 3PL.
  • Strong people skills and ability to manage fellow warehouse team members.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Experience with unique freight forwarding matters such as import/export documentation, customs brokerage
  • Work well within a stressful and fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Extensive experience running Warehouse Management and Inventory Management Software.
  • Strong job costing and labor metrics reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse design layout, labor scheduling, and cost-cutting procedures.
  • Experience with unique freight forwarding matters such as import/export documentation and customs brokers
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers. 


Nice to Have: 

  • Experience with NetSuite.
  • Experience running a warehouse that handles packaging and kitting. 
  • Conversational in Spanish 


POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

Exempt: Exempt employees are excluded from minimum wage, overtime regulations, and other rights and protections afforded nonexempt workers. Employers pay a salary rather than an hourly wage. 


COMPENSATION:

$90,000 Annual Salary + Bonus Opportunities
