Job Summary:

The Chief of Staff will act as a right-hand to the co-Founders, playing a critical role in enhancing the effectiveness of our leadership and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives. This position involves a mix of strategic planning, project management, and operational oversight, with a focus on improving communication and processes within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the co-Founders, assisting in the formulation and execution of strategic and value creation plans including commercial, product, and operational excellence, cloud enablement, and programmatic M&A.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and facilitate communication and project alignment across departments, ensuring initiatives are completed within timelines and objectives are met.
  • Oversee and manage special projects, from conceptualization to execution, often with a company-wide impact ensuring best practice implementation, high quality standards, and compliance.
  • Coordinate executive-level meetings, including setting agendas, ensuring preparation, and following up on action items.
  • Serve as a liaison between the co-Founders and other executives, employees, and the investor group to ensure clear communication and project progress.
  • Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement.
  • Drive operational and strategic decision-making processes.
  • Manage the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on progress against strategic initiatives and day to day operations, including insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in managing the company’s operational workflow, optimizing for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the company’s external relations, representing the co-Founders and the company in various capacities as needed.
  • Facilitate the decision-making process for the leadership team by providing relevant data, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Support integration activities for newly acquired business units or assets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field. MBA or similar advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business management role, with a proven track record in strategic planning and project management. Experience in a SaaS or technology company (or in a Management Consulting role serving similar clients) highly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent the co-Founders and the company in various forums.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to tackling challenges and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage through influence rather than direct authority.
