DataStaff is in need of a Programmer Analyst for one of our direct clients in the Richmond, VA area for a long-term contract opportunity.


*This position is hybrid; the selected candidate must work onsite 3 days per week.

*State-wide travel may be required


Responsibilities:

  • Build applications using Microsoft Power Platform to include PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI and Sharepoint, GIS applications using various ESRI ArcGIS products.
  • Gain broad understanding of the innovation framework
  • Use the innovative/latest tools and best practices to build applications using the Power Platform and ArcGIS
  • Follow all applicable industry and standards, processes and Protocols
  • Engage multiple customers and develop applications to meet their needs
  • Manage stakeholder communications and expectations

  • Process mapping experience
  • Code Documentation
  • Writing Requirements/Scope documents
  • Writing use-cases
  • Using architectural artifacts
  • Interpreting solution architectures
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Customer focused collaboration
  • Other Software Knowledge: Visio, Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio Community Edition, SQL Server, Azure Datalakes and Warehouse, Oracle, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experiences


Required Skills:

  • 5 Years - Programming experience in a high level compiled language such as C#, C++, Java
  • 5 Years - Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python
  • 2 Years - Experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform to include PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and Dataverse
  • 5 Years - Experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing real-time location data.
  • 5 Years - Experience using RESTFul APIS


This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
