Estimator (Interiors)

Your new company

A growing General Contractor with annual revenues of approximately $15M is looking to hire an Estimator to support an expanding estimating team. The company has more than doubled in size over the past few years and is seeking someone who wants a long-term career opportunity with the potential to grow into a future leadership role.

Your new role

Working directly with the owner, you will be responsible for preparing take-offs, soliciting subcontractor pricing, reviewing plans and specifications, developing complete bid packages, and ensuring nothing is missed prior to submission. The company completes 7-10 bids per month, primarily hard bid public sector projects across education, public buildings, interiors, and institutional construction. Project values range from $50K to $5M+, with some projects reaching $7M.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years estimating experience with a General Contractor or subcontractor background.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Experience performing take-offs and obtaining subcontractor pricing.
• Knowledge of multiple construction trades.
• Background in interiors, education, public, or commercial construction preferred.
• Previous Project Management experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel
