Responsibilities:

  • Create first through production patterns for AGOLDE for a full range of sportswear styles, from pants and jackets, to tops and dresses.
  • Work with tech adviser to import technical packages for costing and production.
  • Experience with multiple fabrications, with an emphasis on denim a big plus.
  • Shrinkage knowledge.
  • Drape, draft, and issue cuts.
  • Attend fittings, measure garments and document and implement changes..
  • Work with sample makers to ensure proper garment construction and to ensure pre-production samples meet requirements..
  • Spec and fit approvals for pre-production, final production samples.
  • Partner/ Collaborate with design and product development teams to craft collection.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pattern making and contemporary fit Formal education in Pattern Making and Apparel Production.
  • Strong trend and fashion awareness.
  • Experience with intricate, designer-level patterns and fabrications.
  • Knowledge of garment dyes, woven and leather.
  • Tailoring experience, excellent draping skills, and strong construction and sewing knowledge a MUST.
  • Ability to be a team-player and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PLM and Microsoft Teams.
  • First through Production Pattern maker.
  • Gerber v12 or v15 Preferred; proficient in computer patternmaking.
  • Must have good communication and written skills.
