ROLE SUMMARY: Cox Media is seeking a Creative Project Manager within the Cox Creative Studios [CCS] team of Cox Media Arizona. Reporting to the Creative Director, this position is responsible for organizing, communicating, advancing, and supporting projects for CCS, its internal and external clients. The position serves as the facilitator of assigned creative projects for the CCS team, media consultants, and marketing services. They lead support, troubleshooting activities, and engage appropriate technical personnel to ensure successful fulfillment of campaigns. This role must build excellent working relationships across all functional areas including those that are client-facing. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, media production workflow knowledge, attention to detail, excellent prioritization skills, and can work in a deadline driven production environment to complete all necessary tasks to meet business needs. Automotive advertising and marketing knowledge helpful.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Managing the creative and production phases of assigned client projects. Interacting regularly with key stakeholders including:

THE MEDIA CONSULTANT-Media buy schedules and campaign information, creative feedback, and participating in client meetings. Keep the Media Consultant updated on production details [e.g. when creative is available for review and script reviews/revisions.] THE CLIENT-Supporting creative team as liaison with client. Responsibilities would include identifying monthly offers, follow up on script feedback/approvals, creative feedback/approvals, any production shoot details, and answer questions. PRODUCTION TEAM[S]-Communicate creative vision, copy details, approve/deny spot production, provide assets. Ensure assets are delivered successfully. Confirm co-op details are correct and submitted. Other responsibilities as assigned.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2+ years of project management experience preferably in a creative, advertising, or media environment. BA or BS degree


Demonstrable creative problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and project management skills working cross-functionally to get things done efficiently and correctly. Demonstrate ability to collaborate in team environment, set goals, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail is a must as well as curiosity to investigate and troubleshoot issues. Excellent customer service skills. Innovative self-motivator with ability to be resourceful in ambiguous situations. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
