I am currently working with the managing partner of a leading boutique law firm in Chicago, who are actively looking to recruit a senior commercial litigation attorney/partner to join their growing group.


Responsibilities:

  • This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex commercial litigation cases.
  • Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations.
  • Assist in the development and growth of the firm's litigation group - including networking and client development.
  • Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
  • 6+ years of commercial litigation experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Someone with accounting or business related undergraduate would be preferred, but not required.
