Business Process Analyst – Supply Chain & LogisticsPosition SummaryA growing food manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a Business Process Analyst to support supply chain and logistics operations during a period of expansion. This role plays a critical part in documenting, implementing, and improving business processes while ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost control.The Business Process Analyst will partner with logistics, warehousing, production, and planning teams to reconcile inventory, validate transactions, prepare performance reports, and support the movement of finished goods. This is a highly analytical, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and supporting cross-functional operations in a fast-paced environment.This position is on-site 5 days a week.Compensation: $70,000 to $80,000Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k)Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and reconcile in-transit and on-hand inventory to support service level and cost objectivesMaintain accurate inventory adjustments, purchase order records, and system documentationTrack production performance and raw material usage to identify trends and variancesAnalyze transfer orders and prioritize execution based on demand, availability, and potential shortagesSupport planning activities across the Supply Chain team as neededPrepare monthly inventory reports and KPIs for leadership reviewMonitor cycle count activity and investigate discrepanciesSupport business and quality procedures, including coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) partnersEstablish and maintain inventory targets for raw materials and finished goodsIdentify process improvement and cost-saving opportunities across logistics and inventory flowsPartner with Quality, manufacturing sites, and external partners to resolve quality holds efficientlyConnect to multiple data sources, transform data, and build models using Excel, Power Query, or AccessPerform basic data modeling and calculations to support reporting and analysisSupport additional projects and initiatives as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred1–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, planning, or related functionsAt least 1 year of hands-on inventory management experienceExperience with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., D365, Power BI, SAP, Oracle) preferredStrong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiencyWorking knowledge of inventory fundamentals and manufacturing or distribution processesStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated team player with a continuous improvement mindsetWhy This Role is ExcitingOpportunity to make a meaningful impact during a period of growth and transformationHands-on exposure to logistics, inventory, and production processesAbility to help define and improve business processes from the ground upCross-functional collaboration with operations, planning, quality, and leadership teamsA dynamic environment where ideas, initiative, and analytical thinking are valuedThank you,Rachel StewartSenior Project ManagerLaSalle NetworkLaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.LaSalle Network is the leading provider of direct hire and temporary staffing services.
