Sr. Project Portfolio Coordinator/Analyst

Duration: 6 Months – (Contract)

Location: Charlotte, NC/ Atlanta, GA

Role Responsibilities: (what they will be doing)

  • Facilitate project portfolio coordination activities required to govern the ET strategic initiatives portfolio.
  • Schedule meetings and document outcomes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a portfolio governance methodology/framework.
  • Develop executive level portfolio governance reporting presentations and BI dashboards.
  • Leverage partnerships with ET Division leaders to maintain open communication channels for conveying and soliciting, information, required deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate input data and develop reporting for weekly portfolio governance team work sessions.
  • Coordinate input data and develop reporting for weekly CIO and Senior Leader briefings.
  • Assist in coordination activities for ET strategy development.
  • Support the department in providing input to strategic and tactical decision-making by providing comprehensive data analysis and insights.
  • Assist in coordination activities for new project idea intake and investment planning.


Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.)

  • Project Portfolio Coordination - 3 to 4 years of demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage activities required to govern strategic and complex IT initiative portfolios.
  • Project Management System Experience - 3 to 4 years of experience working using a major project management system
  • Executive Reporting - Exceptional presentation and reporting content development for executive and senior leader level presentations.
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining governance frameworks for strategic initiatives and portfolios.
  • Partner and Stakeholder Management - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with divisional portfolio leads and other various stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for decision making.
  • Communication Skills - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convert and convey complex technical information to clear, concise simplified content for executive and other various audiences.
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with short time frames and fluid priorities.
  • IT Program/Project Experience.


Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences:(Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience. However candidates with any of these will be looked at first.)

  • Experience building BI (Tableau/PowerBI) dashboards.
  • Experience in design and develop of project management systems.
  • Broad technical knowledge across key IT areas and disciplines.
  • Experience in design and develop of project management systems.
  • PMI and SAFe (RTE, Scrum Master or PM) certifications.
  • Process management experience.
  • Financial acumen and experience with investment planning and budgeting processes.
