The Refinery Operator for the Renewable Fuels industry is a key role responsible for operating and monitoring refinery processes to produce high-quality renewable fuels. This position plays a vital role in contributing to the Transportation industry's transition to environmentally friendly and sustainable fuel sources. The Refinery Operator will be involved in the safe and efficient operation of equipment, adherence to operational protocols, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.


Responsibilities:


· Operate and monitor refinery processes involved in the production of Renewable Fuels.

· Execute standard operating procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.

· Monitor process parameters and equipment performance to maintain optimal production conditions.

· Identify and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.

· Conduct regular quality checks on the produced sustainable fuel to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

· Collaborate with the quality control team to implement corrective actions when deviations occur.

· Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

· Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to the sustainable and eco-friendly production of fuels.

· Participate in emergency response activities and drills to ensure readiness for potential incidents.

· Act swiftly and decisively in response to alarms or abnormal operating conditions.

· Maintain accurate records of process data, operational parameters, and production logs.

· Generate regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and any incidents for management review.

· Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and other teams to coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.

· Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operational transitions and handovers.

· Contribute ideas for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.

· Stay informed about advancements in renewable fuel production technologies.


Qualifications:


· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or education in process operations is a plus.

· No previous experience required. In-depth training program will be provided.

· Knowledge of safety procedures, environmental regulations, and operational protocols in the refinery industry preferred but not required.

· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels.
