Franklin Fastener is an innovative manufacturer of clamping solutions and precision formed metal components that supplies the automotive industries, heavy truck and military/aerospace; headquartered on the west side of Metropolitan Detroit that has a current opening for a Sales Coordinator.


Position Summary


Primarily responsible for Sales Coordinator is ensuring customer order & sales satisfaction, related to the manufactured metal components that are supplied globally and the production plans necessary to support them. The position will work directly with Sales Manager, Program Manager and other departments to ensure customer's and company goals are met.


Job Responsibilities


  • Respond to customers in a timely and accurate manner, via phone, email, EDI, or customer web portal.
  • Process customer purchase orders, releases, and orders through IQMS ERP System.
  • Create and process customer RFQ’s through the quoting process in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Respond to Internet RFQ’s.
  • Identify customer needs and provide follow-up on current orders.
  • Customer quotation follow up and CRM update.
  • Review and maintain customer scorecards KPI.
  • Complete other tasks as directed.


Education/Skills Required


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years’ Automotive Supplier Customer Service & Sales experience
  • MS Office: Computer Proficiency with standard software packages, including Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent
  • Excellent Customer written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Conflict resolution and the ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner.
