About Us
Established in 1992, Kansas City Psychiatric Group is proud to be serving the Greater Kansas City area for more than 30 years. As a private physician-owned practice, we are a group of seven physicians and three therapists currently providing behavioral health services to our patients. We provide a full spectrum of outpatient psychiatric and psychological services to adults which also includes two specialty services: TMS and Spravato. The diverse expertise of our fully staffed team allows us to treat all patient needs to attain the best possible outcomes. Kansas City Psychiatric Group is committed to providing quality care in a comfortable and convenient setting in our Overland Park clinic, respecting patient confidentiality and attending to individualized needs.
With being founded and managed by individuals who prioritize physicians’ interests, Kansas City Psychiatric Group takes pride in creating a practice to attract and retain the best outpatient psychiatrists through autonomy.
Pay
- Guaranteed salary of $275,000 for first two years of employment. Opportunity for bonuses based on productivity. No RVU requirement.
- After two years of employment and reaching Partner status, pay varies.
- Board certification and preparation needs reimbursed.
- $10,000 sign on bonus for relocation.
Benefits and Inclusions
- Infrastructure of a private-pay practice designed to allow the provider to focus entirely on clinical work.
- Clinician Flexibility regarding scheduling patients (i.e. days of the week, times of day, frequency, etc.).
- No PTO restriction with productivity requirements met. Seamless coverage provided.
- Six weeks maternity leave and three weeks paternity.
- Hybrid remote option after one year of employment.
- On-Site Practice Manager
- Weekly Board of Director Meeting
- All billing, collections, scheduling, and clinical support team handled in house.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active medical license in Kansas AND Missouri.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
