The organization operates multiple advanced manufacturing facilities across North America and is currently driving transformation through Industry 4.0 adoption, digitalization, and cultural evolution.The company is seeking a Plant Director to lead one of its flagship U.S. manufacturing sites, a fast-growing operation with a unionized workforce. The site is experiencing accelerated growth and has a target of more than 40–50% revenue expansion over the next several years, supported by significant capital investments in automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing systems. This role offers full P&L accountability for a $100M+ operation and high visibility to executive leadership, with the opportunity to shape the site’s long-term strategy and influence broader segment initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the strategic vision for the site, aligning operations with corporate and segment-level objectives.Drive operational excellence and cultural transformation focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.Strengthen union relations through collaboration, consistency, and proactive workforce engagement.Champion Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.Advance automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve throughput, efficiency, and production precision.Manage full P&L ownership, including annual budgets, capital planning, and resource allocation to meet growth and profitability goals.Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team, driving accountability, collaboration, and development at all levels.Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and commercial leaders to align objectives and deliver customer satisfaction.Represent the site as a key voice in regional and global operations, contributing to long-term strategic decision-making.Ideal Candidate ProfileBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.10–15 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior plant or operations leadership role.Proven success leading in unionized manufacturing environments, fostering collaboration and performance.Deep expertise in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Industry 4.0 implementation.Track record of delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Experience leading cultural and operational transformation within high-growth or complex manufacturing settings.Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management and capital project execution.Exceptional communication and influencing skills; able to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.Resilient, hands-on leader with a focus on people, process, and long-term operational scalability.For further information, please contact: aleen.kirmani@pacific-international.com
