A top 5 solar O&M service provider in the US is actively recruiting a Site Supervisor – Solar O&M to join the team This team of engineers, operators, and field technicians combine to offering over 75 years of solar PV experience.
Scope of Responsibilities:
The Site Supervisor will oversee 2 Battery Solar Utility Sites working one site primary while helping oversee the other facility for a 250MW and 90MW sites. The primary objective is to manage and administer the maintenance functions at the plant in accordance with the O&M agreement requirements. Additional responsibilities include:
- Manages all maintenance and technical requirements for the site, maintenance budget development, oversight and adherence
- Performs emergency, preventive, and predictive maintenance on equipment associated with a BESS (Battery Energy Storage) facility.
- Supervises plant maintenance program and use of the enterprise asset management system
- Monitors inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools.
- Oversee health and safety performance for technicians and contractors
- Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems continuously to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems and identify opportunities for improvement
- Produce site reports and presentations of plant maintenance status, schedules and goals
- Work management system implementation and integration
- Performance management
Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance management within the utility energy industry encompassing power plant maintenance and outage management
- Proficient with troubleshooting and debugging batteries, transformers and substations
- Understanding of power plant maintenance processes, CMMS software, EH&S compliance and vendor management
- Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and direct the safe operation and maintenance activities of multiple complex projects
