Job Description:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets, identifying patterns, and extracting meaningful insights using tools like SQL, Excel, or other data analysis software.
  • Data Visualization: Ability to create visually appealing and informative dashboards, reports, and charts using data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Database Management: Knowledge of database concepts, including data modeling, data warehousing, and SQL querying to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Understanding of ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a suitable format, and load it into a data warehouse or reporting system.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Cognos to develop and maintain reports, queries, and data cubes.
  • Data Mining: Knowledge of data mining techniques to discover patterns, correlations, and trends in large datasets.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Understanding of data quality concepts and experience in data cleansing, data profiling, and data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance principles and practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations.
  • Programming Skills: Basic programming skills in languages like Python can be beneficial for automating tasks, building data pipelines, or developing custom analytics solutions.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard. technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives.
  • Update the dashboard content to accurately reflect the source data.
  • Transfer data from sources such as Clarity/ITG, ADO, Gitlab, Excel files hosting relevant source data.
  • Incorporate Boeing-identified KPIs into dashboards to convey key business intelligence views.
  • Experience in data visualization, data cleaning, data manipulation (extract, transform, load), and tool usage of Talend, SSIS, DataStage, Oracle Data Integrator
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Databases - MS SQL/Oracle/Teradata/NoSQL DB
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data

Familiarity with the Azure Cloud ecosystem
