We are a dedicated team focused on enhancing and securing our cloud infrastructure. As part of our cloud platform team, you will work on developing and implementing tools, policies, and scripts that enforce compliance and security requirements, especially where AWS does not provide built-in support. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Administrator who is experienced in AWS, Terraform, and Python, and can drive improvements based on cloud audit findings.


The Senior Cloud Platform Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions and tools for our cloud-based systems. This role will involve creating and enforcing Service Control Policies (SCPs), automating cloud governance, and addressing deficiencies identified in cloud audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, Python, Terraform, and CI/CD processes, with the ability to innovate and improve cloud operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and prototype cloud-deployed services, APIs, and serverless applications using Terraform.
  • Create and enforce custom Service Control Policies (SCPs) and other scripts to address gaps in AWS’s native security and compliance features.
  • Lead the development and deployment of new features and tools to solve complex cloud infrastructure challenges at scale.
  • Work on tasks related to cloud audits, identifying areas of deficiencies and implementing processes and fixes to ensure compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with AWS architecture, Terraform, Python, and the boto3 library.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS IAM policy development, including secure role provisioning and SCP enforcement.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent technical documentation skills, with the ability to create data models, process diagrams, and high-level designs.
