Job Title: CNC Programmer/ Mold Maker Location: St. Francis, WI Department: ManufacturingShift: 1st shiftCompensation: $30-40/hr, based on experience Job SummaryThe Mold Maker / CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and mold components. This role requires strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and program CNC machines including mills, lathes, and routers.Perform precision machining to produce mold components and other parts.Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.Load raw materials and tooling into machines and monitor machining operations.Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.Maintain quality standards and ensure adherence to specifications and tolerances.Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment.Maintain accurate production records and documentation.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.5+ years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of machining processes and tight-tolerance work.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Good communication skills and attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsTechnical certification or vocational training in CNC machining.Experience with CNC programming – Gibscam/MastercamProficiency using precision measuring instruments.Experience working with various materials in mold making or precision manufacturing.Physical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods.Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Exposure to noise, dust, and machinery in a shop environment.Work LocationOn-site position at the St. Francis, WI facility.
