Job Description:

As an Instructor at Claim Academy, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our 14-week (full-time) and 20-week (part-time) curriculum in your area of expertise. You will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, guiding them through complex concepts, and ensuring they acquire the skills necessary to succeed in their chosen field. Your expertise and enthusiasm will inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, labs, and exercises.

- Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on lab activities.

- Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to students, offering guidance and support throughout their learning journey.

- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback.

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.


Qualifications:


Cybersecurity Instructor:

- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with hands-on expertise in areas such as network security, ethical hacking, incident response, and risk management.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.

- Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools and technologies.



Preferred Skills:

- Experience with online teaching platforms and virtual labs.

- Ability to create real-world scenarios and case studies to enhance practical learning.

- Familiarity with programming languages and scripting (e.g. PowerShell for Cybersecurity).
