We are representing an industry leading manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Sr. Plant Accountant for their rapidly growing manufacturing facility. This organization is the industry leader in their respective product line and have a proven track record of success.


POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Responsible for assisting with month-end close process including financial package preparation.
  • Maintain various records, ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
  • Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on costs
  • Provides management with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Candidate should have experience with cost accounting within the manufacturing sector.
  • Candidate should be well versed in Excel
  • Experience leading month end close process
  • Strong budgeting/forecasting
