Allied Behavioral Health Solutions is a locally owned organization focusing on collaborating with individuals, families, medical providers, and communities to create better outcomes for all. Our unique approach integrates behavioral health and primary care services offering a team to support every client’s needs. Our staff specialize in a variety of topics and treatment methods to allow us to meet every client wherever they may be. We are dedicated to building relationships with clients, families, medical providers, and communities to build an allied system of support to create better outcomes for all.
The primary function of this position is to provide individual/family/group counseling and EAP services for children, adolescents, and adults.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide individual/family/couples/group counseling services utilizing evidence based practices.
- Provide education regarding behavioral health needs to staff and families as needed.
- Engage children, individuals, and families in therapeutic services.
- Appropriately assess and diagnose identified client, per insurance requirements.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans for identified client(s).
- Maintain timely session and billing documentation.
- Cooperate with ABHS owners to identify ongoing needs for behavioral health services and make appropriate recommendations for programming that may best support the identified children/families.
Minimum Requirements: Masters in Social Work or Counselor Education. LCSW, LPC/MHSP, or related licensure is preferred. Candidates' education and experience must evidence preparation for Tennessee licensure. Experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft OFFICE, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience working in a medical and/or clinical setting preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting professional knowledge and demeanor in all forms of communication. Ability to build strong rapport with children, adolescents, and families quickly. Capacity to work individually and in family context. Ability to remain calm and effectively manage crisis situations. Capacity to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team. Capability to collect data and engage in appropriate feedback.
