Robert Half is currently hiring for Staff Accountants to join our Full Time Engagement Professionals Team. This team acts as Accounting Consultants in various facets of Accounting to our clients in the Greater Jacksonville area.

This is not a temporary position. We hire you as a full-time employee of Robert Half and you work as a consultant for clients.

  • Work as a consultative role with Robert Half clients in Accounting/Finance
  • Minimum 8-12 week assignments. Projects will be 4-6 months on average.
  • Act as the expert in your assigned area while employees are on leave of absence or while client fills role
  • Streamline processes and increase efficiencies based on your past experiences
  • Duties within assignments are based on your skill sets and capabilities:
  • Accounts Payables
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Payroll
  • Journal Entries
  • General Ledger
  • Month/Year End
  • **Excel is a must**
  • You receive our full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and 401k.
  • You receive just over 3 weeks of time off in a calendar year- including all major holidays, floating holidays and Choice Time Off accrued at 2.0 hours per week.
  • You are guaranteed a minimum 37.5 hours per week whether you are on project or not, so even if you are in between engagements you still get paid 37.5 hours.
  • While on engagement, you are paid hourly so are paid for the hours you work and you still receive overtime for anything over 40 hours in a week.
