- Knowledge & Experience Requirements:Technical experience in the disciplines of Gas, Electric or Safety and knowledge of technical training and safety policies / procedures/ standards and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of training and development principles and adult learning theory
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to perform in a team environment, collaborate with others, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and various business related software. Knowledge & Experience Requirements for Band E: Band E employees are expected to have the knowledge & experience listed below.
- Demonstrated expertise in the disciplines of Gas, Electric or Safety with strong operational or engineering experience and a strong knowledge of technical training and safety policies / procedures/ standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervisory experience and/or advanced education in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in training analysis, design & development, delivery, and evaluation.
- Strong understanding and up to date knowledge of industry training best practices, adult learning theory and learning methods.
- *Strong knowledge of technical training and safety policies / procedures/ standards and regulatory requirements
- Ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Strong decision making and time management Capability Requirements:
- Adapts the content and style of training, based on an understanding of a particular group that will appeal to their interests and produce the best result.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including active listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the business, in order to respond to training inquiries.
