Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to hire a Controller to join their team

When: Immediate need, 6-month contract to perm
Pay- $60/hour
Where: Danvers, 4 days onsite, 1 remote
  • Handle confidential information with tact and discretion. Understand and maintain compliance with FERPA regulations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for internal and external users and other internal financial information used for various users.
  • Monitor cash flow to provide information on daily cash position and use of resources for providing cash, maintaining compliance with such resources.
  • Oversee the internal control functions of the business, implementing changes as needed.
  • Oversee the external audit, preparation of annual financial statements and audit report. Complete other external reports and oversight as needed.
  • Assist in designing, establishing and maintaining an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the Office's overall goals and objectives; assist as needed in directing and overseeing the hiring, development, management and evaluation of staff.
  • Ensure compliance and oversight of bond financing and accounting.
