Job Title: Real Estate Paralegal with 3+ Years of Experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and professional Real Estate Paralegal with over 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The eligible candidate should have a strong understanding of various aspects of residential and commercial real estate law. The role involves fast-paced work, requires flexibility, and demands good editing, redlining, and comparison skills. Other duties encompass document dictation, drafting deeds, and interpreting titles, without conducting any title searches.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare initial drafts of real estate transactional documents including deeds, leases, and purchase agreements.
- Review and revise drafts of various agreements and documents.
- Execute editing, redlining, and comparisons on a variety of legal documents.
- Perform document dictation tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of title interpretation—recognizing and explaining nuances and potential issues within a title.
- Manage real estate closing logistics, prepare closing binders, and ensure all necessary paperwork as per legal guidelines is complete.
- Facilitating communication and coordination between relevant parties including attorneys, sellers, buyers, and tax advisors.
- Maintain excellent electronic and paper filing systems to ensure all documents are readily accessible when required.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Paralegal, preferably focusing on Real Estate Laws.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent qualification required. Bachelor's degree in law-related studies would be advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of real estate documents including deeds, leases, purchase agreements, etc.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other related softwares for editing, redlining, and document dictation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Flexibility to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to effectively manage time, handle tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
