We are currently seeking an Internal Wholesaler to join our Business Development Team. Internal Wholesalers work directly with our Regional Investment Directors daily and report to Sales Management. Our team collectively provides sales support and service to our Broker Dealer, Bank, RIA, and other Advisory Platform partners. Support is provided via email, phone and video calls on Madison Investment strategies and products. This position will be involved in many aspects of sales and service model.


Duties

• Partner with external Regional Investment Directors in the field to help develop sales opportunities in the territory and provide territory level support daily.

• Provide proactive outbound products and sales support to financial advisors via telephone and email on Madison investment products.

• Maintain and build relationships with existing and new financial advisors to maintain and grow Madison market share.

• Assist financial advisors in growing their business by updating them on current sales ideas, product materials, and performance analytics.

• Maintain the CRM system which includes adding leads, prospects, and sales activities.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree. 

• Active FINRA Series 6, 7 and 66 licenses are required (or within a short period of time after employment).

• Previous work experience within a sales team desired.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage relationships with clients, advisors, and strategic business partners.

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, presentation, and oral and written communication skills required.

• Ability to multi-task responsibilities as part of a team in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• A passion and interest in capital markets and the financial industry.
