This role is part-time and will be approximately 4 days of work per month from May through December.


The part-time Leadership Curriculum Classroom Trainer / Facilitator will be responsible for the delivery of an in-person, 2-day training class every other week beginning May 2024 through December 2024. This individual will receive a curriculum consisting of activities, role plays, and active participatory exercise, as well as practical application focused videos and situational demonstrations. Additionally, the Leadership Trainer will have access to training support and client’s Internal Trainers and Subject Matter Expert’s during the preparation period. This resource must have proven experience in training leadership, people management, corporate skills, and overall business acumen. A computer with reliable internet connectivity will be provided.


Responsibilities:


  • Participate in a Train-the-Trainer curriculum certification training, developed and delivered by the client, that will kick-off at the client’s new, state-of-the-art Training Facility on Monday, May 6th 2024 and will conclude on Thursday, May 9th 2024.
  • Deliver engaging, highly interactive training to adult learners.
  • Use interpersonal styles to promote a culture of open communication with colleagues and team members to achieve client objectives.
  • Demonstrate strong training delivery platform skills while effectively applying adult learning principles.
  • Exhibit effective interpersonal skills by setting behavioral expectations during training.
  • Champion company values and demonstrate the unique ability to gain trust and respect in a short period of time from a diverse audience.
  • Learn corporate systems, processes, and software applications, including the business purpose of each, how to use them, and when the systems are used.
  • Leverage creativity and utilize a wide variety of teaching techniques, such as case study, role playing, group activities, icebreaker exercises, etc. to deliver training programs that engage learners and increase retention.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Training and Curriculum Design, Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Teaching, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of training experience in a corporate environment preferred
  • Commitment to customer service excellence
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills delivering instructor-led training
  • Outstanding interpersonal, consultative, and influencing skills
  • Self-directed and motivated to learn new skills, content, technology, and systems applications
  • Ability and willingness to give and receive coaching and feedback
  • Leadership training experience and people management skills
  • Experience training in-person classes through a variety of engagement methods
  • Complete fluency in English and a general understanding of modern business practices
