Role / Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: New Orleans, LA-100% remote

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop front-end website and mobile applications.
  • Design intuitive user interactions on web pages.
  • Develop robust back-end website applications.
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
  • Create servers and databases to support application functionality.
  • Optimize applications for cross-platform compatibility, particularly for mobile devices.
  • Ensure application responsiveness and efficient performance.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to incorporate web design features.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Design and develop APIs to meet both technical and consumer needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in web applications and programming languages.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Proficiency in .NET framework (4.0 or later) is required. Experience with .Net Core 3.0 or above is preferred, and .Net 6 is a plus.
  • Strong skills in C# programming.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Advanced technical expertise and at least 3 years of practical experience in creating web applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET API, or similar.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or similar.
  • Experience with Azure technologies such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Table Storage, Azure Cosmos Db, Azure APIM, and Azure Service Bus is preferred.
