Mechatronics Engineer

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our converting and corrugating equipment. Your primary responsibility is to minimize downtime by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety First: Prioritize safety by adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of machinery, including gearboxes, large motors, drives, PLCs, encoders, and 480V systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to encoders, VFDs, and photo eyes.
• PLC Programming: Utilize your knowledge of ladder logic to modify existing programs.
• Conveyor Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot both belted and roller conveyor systems.
• Corrugated Machinery: Experience with flexo folders and die cutters is a plus.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and management to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong understanding of machinery and equipment, including gearboxes, motors, drives, PLCs, and encoders
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
• Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed
