Position Description:

  • Looking for experienced engine and hybrid powertrain calibrators for our global internal combustion engine, diesel, and hybrid electric vehicles.
  • We are looking for engineers who have 2+ years of calibration experience developing and delivering drivability, tailpipe or evaporative emissions, or on board diagnostics.
  • The position includes working in vehicles on road and at test facilities including Allen Test Park Lab, Drivability Test Facility, etc. Models and data simulation may be used too.
  • Calibrators use in vehicle data acquisition systems and are well versed in data analysis and scripting tools.
  • Some travel may be included to hot weather, cold weather, and altitude test locations.


  • Skills Required:BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Propulsion systems calibration engineering. (engine or HEV calibration) experience.
  • Proficient in data analysis 3) Technical knowledge.
  • Responsible, enthusiastic, and ready to deliver fantastic products and work with a great team.


  • Skills Preferred:Can read C code.
  • Can write engineering scripts.
  • Control systems knowledge


  • Experience Required:2+ years of propulsion systems calibration experience


  • Experience Preferred:Delivered drivability calibration.
  • Delivered tailpipe or evaporative emissions calibration.
  • Delivered on board diagnostics calibration.


  • Education Required:B.S in ME or EE


  • Education Preferred:M.S in ME or EE


  • Additional Information:Positions are Hybrid (at least 3 days onsite).
