As an Entry-Level SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing effective SEO strategies, analyzing website data to draw accurate conclusions, and supporting a small team of SEOs. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of agency SEO, strong analytical skills, excellent writing and editing abilities, and effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members on their website(s) and SEO needs. You must be eager to take ownership of assigned projects, perform standard SEO tasks with minimal instruction, and proactively anticipate the effects of implemented strategies. Responsibilities:


  • Analyze website data and draw accurate conclusions to inform SEO strategies and decision-making.
  • Develop and execute effective SEO strategies independently, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their website goals, requirements, and SEO objectives.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate SEO strategies with clients, providing routine updates and reports.
  • Keep accurate time logs and task statuses using internal tracking systems 
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of SEO campaigns, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging SEO practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as content creators and web developers, to optimize website performance.
  • Continuously track and report on key SEO metrics, demonstrating the effectiveness of implemented strategies.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree and/or professional experience in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in interpreting and analyzing website data to drive SEO strategies.
  • Knowledge of search engine algorithms and SEO best practices.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building techniques.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to effectively communicate and consult with clients regarding their website(s) and SEO requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently execute SEO strategies and deliver high-quality results.
  • Proficient in using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and see projects through each phase, from conception to completion, with minimal errors.


Preference:

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency setting.
