Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Epicor Kinetic and earlier Epicor versions (e.g., ERP 10).
  • Proficiency in Epicor customization tools, including BPMs, BAQs, SSRS, Application Studio, and Low-Code/No-Code development.
  • Strong skills in C#, .NET, SQL, T-SQL, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Service Connect, Epicor’s API framework, and system integration tools.
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports and SSRS for report development.

ERP Customization & Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom modules, screens, reports, and business processes in Epicor Kinetic to meet business needs.
  • Use Epicor’s customization tools such as BPMs (Business Process Management), BAQs (Business Activity Queries), and SSRS to create tailored solutions.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to provide real-time, actionable insights for business users.
  • Customize and extend Epicor forms and workflows using Epicor Application Studio and Low-Code/No-Code tools.

Integration & Data Management:

  • Create and maintain integrations between Epicor Kinetic and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, e-commerce platforms, third-party applications) using REST APIs, Epicor Service Connect, and external tools.
  • Perform data migration from legacy systems to Epicor Kinetic using Epicor DMT (Data Management Tool) and other data transformation methods.
  • Ensure data integrity and system stability by managing system upgrades, patches, and improvements.

ERP Implementation & Support:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop solutions that enhance system functionality.
  • Participate in new Epicor module implementations, configurations, and system updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing technical support for end-users and system administrators.
  • Assist with system testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and performance standards.

System Optimization:

  • Continuously evaluate the performance of the Epicor Kinetic system and identify opportunities for process improvements, system optimization, and automation.
  • Implement performance tuning, database query optimization, and efficient design strategies to improve ERP system speed and responsiveness.

Documentation & Training:

  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation for customizations, integrations, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to users and IT teams on system usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.

ERP Knowledge:

  • Experience with Epicor modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Sales.
  • Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Understanding of multi-site and multi-company setups within Epicor.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide efficient solutions.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, aligning system functionality with operational goals.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, operations, finance, manufacturing).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epicor Certifications in Epicor Kinetic (preferred, but not required).
  • Experience with cloud-based Epicor deployments or SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or related industries.
