Chemist III

Duration: 6 months contract, Full-Time

Job Description:

The Chemist III will create and validate electronic calculations using Empower FR4 Reports within a cGMP environment. Experience with custom calculations is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Method validation, clinical testing.

• Routine testing.

• HPLC, CE and icIEF technology.

• Create report, communication, global team.

• Test method validation.

• No testing, desk work, paperwork validating test method.

• Creation of Empower reports including custom calculations for HPLC, CE-SDS and icIEF technology.

• Validation of customized Empower reports.

• Authoring cGMP documents in support of Empower reports.

• Impact assessment of test methods revisions against Empower reports.

• Understands, implements, and maintains cGMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures, and systems in accordance with procedural requirements.

• Accepts responsibility to complete assigned tasks within required timelines and works with others to accomplish business objectives.

• Revises procedures as necessary and provides continuous improvement support for the department.

Basic qualifications:

• BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology, or equivalent science degree and 5+ years of related work experience.

• HPLC, CE or icIEF experience in a cGMP required.

• Empower software experience required.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in cross functional roles or responsibilities.

• Quality Control lab experience with clinical and commercial products.
